As a parent, you want the best for your child. You want to see them thrive, grow, and reach their full potential. But as your daughter navigates adolescence, it can be challenging to help her cope with the emotional ups and downs that come with this stage of life.

That’s why we’re offering a group for adolescent girls that focuses on working through DBT skills. DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is an evidence-based therapy that has been shown to be effective in helping individuals improve mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal relationships.

In this group, your daughter will learn how to:

  • Recognize and label her emotions
  • Develop healthy coping mechanisms
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Build self-esteem and self-worth
  • And more!

We understand that parenting can be tough, and we want to support you and your daughter in this journey. With the tools and skills she learns in this group, your daughter will be better equipped to handle the challenges of adolescence and build a happier and more fulfilling life.

Sign up now and give your daughter the support she needs to thrive.

Resident in Counseling

The struggles and pain we experience in life are often the same moments that can propel us to grow, change and experience joy and freedom in our lives. As a therapist, it is my privilege to walk alongside you on your journey and provide a caring, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to grow. With a foundation rooted in honesty and respect, counseling can be a powerful experience that can release you from the areas that keep you stuck in your life.

I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and individuals ages 6+, navigating various mental health and relational concerns including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, divorce/separation, identity, trauma, parenting, and behavioral challenges. I am especially passionate about working with and empowering adolescent girls and women. I also enjoy working with diverse clients with cross-cultural backgrounds since I come from an international background myself and understand the unique challenges and blessings that come with it.

I love to work collaboratively with my clients and believe strongly in drawing out your unique strengths and values while utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches that fit you best. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) and draw on multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Attachment Theory, play and creative techniques.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me enjoying baking with my two daughters or enjoying the outdoors either hiking or kayaking.
