Counseling offers support for the seasons of our lives that seem difficult, overwhelming, and challenging. As a therapist, it is my privilege to walk through these seasons with you, to help you gain clarity and direction. It is my hope to help others feel understood, seen, and heard.
As a Resident in Marriage & Family Therapy, I have specific education in working with family relationships and intimate partnerships. I enjoy coming alongside these relationships to bring understanding, hope, and connection. I am especially passionate about working with immigrant families and individuals, as well as working with people of color.
Additionally, I have experience working with individuals of all ages who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns, including trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in crisis management and have worked extensively with high-risk concerns such as suicidality and self-harming behaviors. I also have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
When I’m not in the counseling room, you can find me trying out different restaurants and foods in the DMV, going on nice walks, or spending quality time with friends.
